*My shop will be updated today, June 7th at 11 a.m. ET*
It feels like a whole lot of work went into this update, but with less yarn to show for it! I think part of that is the new 4 oz size of my sport and fingering weight yarns. There are fewer individual skeins, so it just doesn’t seem like as much yarn as usual, even though it is. Working with the larger skeins actually cuts back on my work just a bit, so my prices for those are a couple dollars lower (per ounce) now. However, the multicolored and speckled yarns take several extra steps to create so those are priced a bit higher. If you’ve purchased mini skeins from me in the past, you will see that this month they are a bit larger, 110 yards vs. 80 yards. That gives you a little more yarn and more confidence that you won’t run out of a single color on a shawl project like this one. I’m very interested in knitting a Half Hansel and am thinking of offering kits later this fall. Kits would include four naturally dyed mini skeins and enough undyed yarn in either white or gray to knit the shawl. What do you think? Interested? Also-right now I only offer mini skeins in my 2-ply fingering weight yarn. Please let me know if you’d like to see minis in another weight. Okay, I think that is all I wanted to tell/ask you. Thanks so much for your support of my natural yarn dyeing endeavors! This was a fun few weeks!
