Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! Share your photo on your blog, on Instagram (#yarnalong), or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us!~

I’m still not spending very much time reading, but am more than halfway through A Room with a View now.

I only had about four knitting projects going, so thought I ought to cast on for something else…a little Violet Bonnet in Quince & Co. Tern, the barnacle colorway.  I’ve had this yarn in my stash forever, so it’s good to be putting it to use!

  1. adding that bonnet to my queue! Love it. Reading H is for hawk, knitting a necklace

  2. That’s the cutest bonnet pattern ever. I’ll have to try it and gift it to someone!
She’ll be here so soon! Exciting!

  3. It’s always a good time to cast something on!

  4. when in doubt CAST ON another thing. It’s what knitters do.

  5. What a sweet bonnet. I’m sending you all the best from Northwest CT. Just came home from strawberry picking.
Take it easy……if there is such a thing!!!

  6. I found Forster difficult to hang with… Couldn’t keep my attention. Hope you are doing well! 🙂

  7. lovely! the colour and how sweet it will be! Praying for you daily Ginny, as you await your little one and care for all your other ones!!! I have a 4 day candle (you know, the ones in glass) lit for you by my icon to the Protection of the Mother of God. God bless and keep you in His peace!

  8. Such a sweet bonnet. I love using up those skeins that sit in my stash forever!

  9. My favorite book and movie!

  10. I keep telling myself that I won’t buy anymore yarn because my stash is so huge but then I find a pattern that I just have to knit but I don’t have the perfect yarn to knit it with. Such is life…

  11. What a sweet bonnet pattern. All the precious baby girl knits are just making my heart swoon! Happy days ahead for sure. xx

I love to hear from you!
