Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading (though not at the same time!), and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

The mornings and evenings are getting chilly, and I am hoping to finish Larkspur’s Leksak in the next few weeks! I am a few inches beyond dividing for the sleeves now.

I started reading Nathan Coulter this week for my local book club.  I’m only a few pages in, and haven’t formed an opinion of it yet.

  1. Love the color or the yarn. It is going to be a beautiful sweater.
The weather is changing around here too, and I think cooler weather is perfect for knitting. Looking forward to seeing your finished sweater.

  2. We are in the middle of some really nice weather – warm, even hot days! But the mornings are still cool. Cool enough for a light jacket or thick sweater. This one looks beautiful and warm!

  3. Love Wendell Berry, and all of his works. Also wish I could knit as your work is so lovely. Alas, I cannot.

  4. The colour of the yarn is beautiful. Thank you for hosting the yarn along.

  5. I loved Nathan Coulter, though Hannah Coulter is better…

  6. I’ve just started reading Hannah Coulter for an online book club. 🙂

  7. keep on keeping on with this, it’s looking great… so wonderful about being in a book club!

  8. This is a lovely pattern, wish they offered it for adults.

  9. You really think you can teach me to knit? – remember I am old! Winking smile emoticon
But I have it on my bucket list. For so many years I put all interests aside for kids and work.
Thank you for your continued friendship, I really count you as a friend by heart!
    Love Bonnie

  10. Succes with working on Larkspur’s Leksak!
Thanks so much for Yarn Along!

  11. I’m hoping to knit this for my 12yo daughter soon…before snow flies would be preferable. So glad you shared this pattern, I don’t think I would have found it otherwise. X

  12. It’s cooler here today too, I am so thankful.
I haven’t read Nathan Coulter, but I did read Hannah Coulter and loved it.

I love to hear from you!
