~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~
I’ve nearly finished Larkspur’s Bulle. My bum shoulder is slowing me down though! In truth, all the furious knitting I did on it last week may have contributed to my problem. I adore this pattern and am not sad at all that I will be knitting one for Beatrix next. Typically I hate repeating a pattern twice in a row!
I finished reading The Glass Castle over the weekend and felt a little bit devastated when it was over. Not so much because I was finished reading it, but I think the whole thing just settled on me once I closed the book. I admire the way the author told the story of her crazy (for lack of a better word) childhood.
Now I am back to reading Far From the Madding Crowd. It’s such a drastically different book on every level, so the transition was a bit tough at first!

“The portrait of a Lady” by Henry James. Have you read it? You might like it.

Love the color of that yarn! I’m still learning to crochet, so I don’t mind repeating a pattern.

Oh, Ginny, I am SO taken with that colorway. Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage is one of my favorite yarns, too. I think this is what I’m going to knit your Sunday Sweater in for my 8 year old daughter. I can’t wait! 🙂

Very pretty yarn! Take care of your shoulder and best wishes for a speedy recovery. I did a review of your Sunday Sweater for today’s yarn along on my blog. Fantastic pattern – I might be finished tomorrow!
