Mister Seahorse has long been a favorite book at our house.  Inspired by the colorful Mr. Seahorse, Keats and I drew seahorses on watercolor paper for the girls to paint.  (He is a far better artist than I am.)  This simple activity was enjoyed by both girls.

I’ve decided to turn off comments starting tomorrow on most of my posts here for awhile.  I hope you will all understand!  I am certainly NOT doing this because I don’t like comments.  On the contrary, I love hearing from all of you.  I will probably turn comments on here and there, especially after Easter Sunday.  The Yarn Along will carry on as usual, and if I get a sense that I need to leave comments on for that day I will.

  1. Oh, Ginny. A girl of my own heart. I’ve been contemplating shutting down comments for a while. I’d love to talk with you (via email) as to your decision and its permanence (or not). Hugs and blessing, mama. xxoo Rachel

  2. have a wonderful lenten season!

  3. God bless you and your family during this lenten season.

  11. Ok, well if you’re turning off comments… here’s what I want to say about this post:
    “Hi Larkspur!”
The flowers make me want to find yarn those colors and make…something.
That’s it! Have a wonderful Lent!

  12. Have a wonderful Lenten season.

  13. Have a blessed Lent! We’ll all still be here reading and looking at your beautiful photographs. Thank you for posting all you do!

  14. Wishing you a peaceful Lent. We are starting a big journey tomorrow and I look forward to every step. I just fear doing it all wrong. I am not so secretly hoping you do a Lent post 🙂 Did you see my message?

  15. That’s a sweet thing to give up. 🙂

  16. It’s a really good practice. I have turned off my comments every Lent since I started blogging…I miss them! but that is exactly what makes it a good sacrifice.

  17. God bless your Lent – and whatever you decide to do.

Love the kitty bag, and the great photo of L. on the bike, with the shades!

  18. Ginny,

You have a beautiful family, and I have enjoyed all your gorgeous photos. 🙂
