Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~
dolly sweaters

These two doll sweaters were my only Christmas knitting projects.  The girls were pleased with them.  I ran out of yarn though, and had to give Bea’s doll sweater black sleeves.  I think it worked though, and it seems rather Beatrix.  Beatrix who once again hopped on the bed when I was taking pictures.  She declared that the sweaters are “soooo special” and then grabbed them one by one and threw them on the floor.

I am really focusing on finishing Howard’s End, but reading time is just scant.  I received Anna Quindlen’s Short Guide to a Happy Life as a gift and read it last week.  It’s a quick happy little read.

Below is a linky list if you’d like to link up and join the Yarn Along.  Don’t forget to link back to this post so that others can join us.  The Yarn Along is about sharing with each other!
(**And those of you posting crochet projects, don’t forget to add the word “crochet” next to your name to make yourself easier for other crocheters to find! )

  1. I love this. I just found it. And I’ll definitely be back. I linked up my ONE chevron mitt blog post this time. 🙂

  2. What lovely projects everyone is doing! I am so inspired 😉

  3. Just wanted to tell how happy I am because I can actually leave a comment. Thank you so much for taking the time to switch your site. I’m loving that I can get to it! Will be looking forward to posting for next weeks yarn along.

  4. Don’t give up the knitting photos EVER!! I follow the books and am almost convinced that I should be a knitter too. If you stopped now I would miss that push to learn, maybe next time your Mom visits, you could have Keats teach her (or trick her into doing some knitting for him)

  5. Hi Ginny,
I missed the Yarn Along this week, but just wanted to pop in to say a late merry Christmas to you and your family. x

I love to hear from you!
