My sister and three of her four boys visited us this week. We went fossil hunting two of the three days she was here. Our first stop was a little state park in Maryland. It was really chilly and windy. Of course that didn’t stop my sister’s kids from breaking the number one rule for fossil hunting in the cold: don’t get wet. So while everyone had a good time, there were lots of tears on the way back up the trail.
Trudy thoroughly enjoyed herself. I had a great time taking pictures of her playing with sticks and bits of trash washed up on the beach, and of her ears blowing in the wind.
