~Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me each month and share what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! Post your photo(s) on your blog or on Instagram (#yarnalong) and then share a link below to either your blog or Instagram post!~ (this post contains affiliate links.)
May was not my month for knitting. In fact, as far as knitting goes, this was the least productive month for me in the entire decade or so that I’ve been knitting. I did start a cardigan for Mabel in some pomegranate extract dyed yarn, and I hope I can finish it for this fall.
I just finished re-reading Howards End for my book club. I last read it in 2012, and I have to admit that I remembered almost NONE of the story reading it this time. I mean, crazy stuff happens at the end of this book. There are major events, and it was as if I was reading the final thirty pages for the first time. Does this ever happen to you? I think I appreciated it more this time around, but it’s still not one of my favorite books. I did get a laugh reading what I wrote about it last time I read it.
