Good morning! I will be updating our shop today at 11 a.m. ET. I’ve just restocked my Pure & Simple Greta Goat’s Milk Soap, and Jonny made a small batch of live edge cherry cutting boards this month and a hand turned cherry rolling pin. They would make lovely Mother’s Day gifts! I had more fun with mini skeins over the past few weeks and have three different sets to offer, including a mini indigo gradient. Last month I mentioned these mini skein project ideas: this, this, colorful stripes on this, or this. I also came across this book (affiliate link). If you do a search for “mini skein projects” you will find countless ideas! There will also be a bit of dk, sport, and fingering weight yarn available.
As always, thank you all for your continued support of our little family business!
p.s. Seth has new fossil sets in his shop! We will combine shipping if you order from both of our shops and leave me a note that you did. 🙂
Hi,
Love the industrious nature of your family, such a gift! I went to your etsy store to look for the cutting boards, but they don’t show up there. Is it a separate store? Thanks
Hi Rae,
We list the cutting boards in the regular shop, but they sold out. Jonny will have more in the coming weeks, though.
Thanks so much!
Ginny
Wow! Happy for you, but not for me, ha! Thank you for letting me know.
Blessings on you and your sweet family,
Rae
Hi Rae! I am doing a small shop update today at 9:30 a.m. ET. There will be a few cutting boards available. 🙂
You have such good taste, Ginny. I love your yarn. It looks so pretty.
Thank you!!!
Absolutely beautiful Ginny. Good on you for valuing small-batch, hand made treasures. What a great thing to teach your kids.
Hi Ginny!
Will you be dying any yarn that is an alpaca/wool blend again? I loved the yarn I bought from you last year that was that blend (if I remember correctly).
Have a lovely day!
Hi Emily!
That yarn is not from the mill that I currently source from. But if you had something specific in mind (# of skeins and color), let me know and I will see what I can do!
Love,
Ginny
What is the flowering branch in the first picture with the rolling pin? Beautiful little white flowers. I’m assuming it’s a shrub.
It’s called autumn olive. It is pretty, the blossoms smell lovely, and the bees love it, but unfortunately it is an invasive species. https://www.nature.org/ourinitiatives/regions/northamerica/unitedstates/indiana/journeywithnature/autumn-olive.xml
All of this is so amazingly beautiful!
Thank you, Pamela!
Oh.. everything is so beautiful, as always! Love the live edge cutting boards!
Thanks, Martha!
