I’ve been trying so hard to get photos of our hen with her two sweet little chicks, but she is surely the most aggressive mama we’ve ever had. I squatted down with my camera the other day and promptly got a face full of her angrily flapping wings. It wasn’t as bad as the time a wild turkey mama did the same, but startling nonetheless. So I have to be content using my zoom lens from a distance, and even then, there is papa rooster to contend with. I do hope that their protectiveness will result in chicks who survive to adulthood.
I updated my shop this evening with my first round of fall yarn, playsilks, goat milk soap, and stitch markers. I hope you’ll find some beauty there! As always, I truly thank you for your orders and your support!
