Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! Share your photo on your blog, on Instagram (#yarnalong), or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us!~

The past week has been full of preparations for new chicks, an upcoming birthday, and appointments, so I’ve hardly done any knitting. That tends to be my spring knitting pattern because there’s always so much going on! I knit a few pattern repeats on my legwarmer, and I am happy with that!

We haven’t read A Family Journey with Jesus Through Lent in a couple of years, so we’ll be starting it today.

Do you think an 8 year old would enjoy the book? And is it Catholic? Thx!

I would say that 8 is the perfect age for it, and yes, it’s Catholic. 🙂

Hopefully you’ll have more knitting time this week? I had to rip back on my top down sweater and while I’m glad I found my mistake and didn’t have to rip out an entirely made up sweater, I’m bummed about my “rookie” mistake made my me. Doh.
