Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! Share your photo on your blog, on Instagram (#yarnalong), or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us!~

So…

Let’s talk about knitting?

It’s almost midnight in Virginia as I’m writing this. A little bit late. Mabel is still up, I don’t know what’s going on with her. I don’t think she’s wondering how the presidential election is going to go. She does have a cold. So maybe it’s that?

I’m feeling positive about Beatrix’s sweater. I finished the body and the neckband today. I had hoped to get one of the sleeves on the needles, but Mabel…

If I don’t finish this sweater in time for Bea’s birthday, I’ll finish it soon after.

I’m almost finished reading The Broken Way. Next up, I’m not sure. It’s time to start thinking about Advent and Christmas!

Yep knitting and crochet might be the most comforting things to settle upon, at least that’s lots of us feel over the pond….

The jumper is looking great, I wish I could knit like you. Such talent

Best wishes for a good and safe outcome with Mabel’s cold. Beatrix’s sweater is looking great too, I’m sure it will be well received regardless of when it is finished. One day at a time.
