Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! Share your photo on your blog, on Instagram (#yarnalong), or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us!~

Yarn Along-6719

I’m working on a tiny sock (this pattern) and reading The Shepherd’s Life.  I don’t have any major knitting plans for baby girl yet, only some idea of what yarns from my stash I would like to use.  These socks are the first thing I have cast on for her. I love tiny knitted socks!

That is a great pattern, really easy to memorize and perfect socks every time. I remember you knitting some for Job. Gosh, time flies…

    Peace!

Just seeing that little sock has me clucking. I have never knit socks before – do you think they stay on baby/toddler feet better than cotton ones? I am forever finding discarded socks about the house (and they are always black – hmmm, tells me everything I need to know about the state of our floors…)

The socks are simply adorable. How, oh how, do you find the time or energy for such a project? It’s admirable.

Ack, how exciting & ADORABLE! I love the color. Tiny socks are some of my favorite baby knitting & also the only sock knitting I do as they’re so quick.

Those certainly are tiny little socks! I love it! I actually feel good about knitting all baby things, because they are tiny it doesn’t take me nearly as long to actually finish them – meaning they have a shot at actually being finished 🙂
