Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading (though not at the same time!), and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

The mornings and evenings are getting chilly, and I am hoping to finish Larkspur’s Leksak in the next few weeks! I am a few inches beyond dividing for the sleeves now.

I started reading Nathan Coulter this week for my local book club.  I’m only a few pages in, and haven’t formed an opinion of it yet.

Love the color or the yarn. It is going to be a beautiful sweater.
The weather is changing around here too, and I think cooler weather is perfect for knitting. Looking forward to seeing your finished sweater.

We are in the middle of some really nice weather – warm, even hot days! But the mornings are still cool. Cool enough for a light jacket or thick sweater. This one looks beautiful and warm!

Love Wendell Berry, and all of his works. Also wish I could knit as your work is so lovely. Alas, I cannot.

You really think you can teach me to knit? – remember I am old! Winking smile emoticon
But I have it on my bucket list. For so many years I put all interests aside for kids and work.
Thank you for your continued friendship, I really count you as a friend by heart!
    Love Bonnie

I’m hoping to knit this for my 12yo daughter soon…before snow flies would be preferable. So glad you shared this pattern, I don’t think I would have found it otherwise. X

It’s cooler here today too, I am so thankful.
I haven’t read Nathan Coulter, but I did read Hannah Coulter and loved it.
