Sarah and baby Cecilia passed away last night. Please continue to pray for her family.
One of my best friends is in the hospital on life support. She was attacked by what we believe were yellow jackets and had an allergic reaction. Further tests revealed a ruptured aneurysm on her brain. She is 21 weeks pregnant with her fifth child, a baby girl named Cecilia. Please join me in praying for Sarah, her husband Eric, and their children, Liam, Annalee, Jude, Faustina, and tiny Cecilia. Friends and family are saying goodbyes while praying and hoping for a miracle.

Dear Ginny,
I am so sorry for your loss. I learned about Sarah and her family from a friend´s FB and his request for prayers. I have been praying for her eternal rest as well as for comfort, peace and acceptance for her family and friends. It is God’s amazing power and grace that can bring people together over your friend and her family (even a lurker like myself, all the way in Mexico), and His mercy as well as the Blessed Virgin’s intercession will help all of you through this.
Hugs and prayers!

Words cannot express the deep sorrow I have felt for you and this family this week. Please know you and her family are in my prayers. This song is by Alan Jackson. http://youtu.be/zCvgXw-Bh04
“Sissy’s Song” is an acoustic mid-tempo country ballad, written by Jackson as a tribute to a housekeeper named Leslie “Sissy” Fitzgerald, who worked daily at Jackson’s house.[1][2] Jackson wrote the song after Sissy died in a motorcycle accident on May 20, 2007. He then went to the recording studio, and working with longtime producer Keith Stegall, made a recording of the song with just his vocals and steel-string acoustic guitar to be played for the family at her funeral.[1] The song expresses Jackson’s feeling for Sissy, in addition to hoping that “she flew up to heaven on the wings of angels.” Wikipedia

I am a French Mum following your blog for a year now. I am deeply sad to read these articles. It must be terrible for you, for all the family Sarah. Sometimes life is so unfair and you feel so helpless. Keep all these contracts with Sarah as treasures that will help you for the rest of your life time. You’re also a light for the husband and children of Sarah to send them all the love and sweetness that their mother has given so much. Courage in this test of life and all my condolences. I hope Sarah and baby girl are at peace wherever they are. I pray…
I kiss you and hold you in my arms,
Marie (from France)

I keep coming back to the picture of this beautiful family and embrace my three little boys just a little tighter, but I am so sad for this family — it brings me to tears. Hang in there, Ginny. embrace all those little ones in Love and Light, both your own and of your dear friend, Sara. May Peace envelop all of you!

I am so very sorry for your loss. You and Sarah’s family have been and will continue to be in my prayers. I hope and pray that those who knew her will be inspired by her life to grow in the Lord and seek comfort and peace in Him during this time of sorrow. He is near to the brokenhearted. He binds up our wounds and comforts us when we are hurting. May His word, His truths, His promises uphold all of you with a deep and sure trust in His ways – His ways which are higher than ours. His wisdom is unsearchable, it is high, we cannot attain it. Hard things happen, pain comes, and the human part of us begs to know why. The intricate tapestry of His plan is too complex for our tiny minds to comprehend. And so we wait, we move into another day, we follow Him. “For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. (1 Corinthians 13:12). One day our faith will be made sight and we will know and understand. For now we trust as a baby trusts its mama to care for its every need.
We are helpless, Oh Lord, apart from You. Bless Ginny and all those who are grieving the loss of this woman- wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend. Most of all, help all of us to seek the things above, not the things of the earth. This tragic loss is a reminder to each of us that our lives, as long as we have here, need to be filled with the things that bring glory to You, build Your kingdom, and prepare us for our final day- and not the worries that so easily distract us from what really matters.
