Ginny, you do look the same. Amazing. Is it the same jumper too ? ;-D (in any case, keep it, it looks good and so comfortable!)
You both look gorgeous, on both pictures. Happiness does that, I am sure.

Jonny looks like a BABY in that first picture! And you look the same. It’s hard to imagine that’s the last time I saw either of you… right after Seth was born and we were moving my brother into his room at UGA.

I love it. Our oldest was born the first week of 2000. He’ll be 14(!) in two weeks. And our latest is due in March, with several children scattered in between. I’m going to have to look up some very early family pictures with our first and maybe recreate them for comparison’s sake!

It’s always a good idea to take pictures of our new babes JUST with their parents, isn’t it? Thanks for the reminder! Ours always pile into photos at every opportunity. You two don’t look like the parenting journey has aged you too much! So much joy.

This is what I LOVE about these pictures: In the first one with your first babe, he’s sleeping and Johnny looks a teeny bit overwhelmed. In the other picture, Job is screaming his head off, and you both couldn’t be more relaxed! Such a difference experience we have with our first and last babes! You look beautiful in both pictures, Ginny! You have a beautiful family!

How sweet! You both are blessed with a lovely family and most of all because you know it and cherish them all with love and your time. It may sound like a given, but it’s a huge and wonderful choice you have both made to really dedicate yourselves to being present and loving parents and as someone in society who will benefit from the fine people you are raising, I want to thank you. Your children will grow up an in their turns give so much back to everyone and to their own children too!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

We did a little family photo shoot with our son when he was three months. In about 90% of the photos he is either crying or breastfeeding. Ha πŸ™‚ But it is fun to have those photos for us to look back on and remember what he was like at that age, even if he wasn’t a smiling picture of perfection.

I was thinking the same thing! Seth was actually a very fussy baby. He cried all. the. time. We were probably really nervous having those photos taken with him, that he would start crying and we wouldn’t get the “perfect shot.”

I’m glad you posted this picture. πŸ™‚ A lot of people want the “perfect” photo of their baby, but I was always the one who put whatever actually happened. ha, ha. Sleeping, crying, whatever. That was my baby at that moment. I love it! πŸ™‚
