Where did you find those candles? Much more child friendly than the tapers I had!

Did you see my blog post about making our wreath this year? We used cypress branches too! Perfect since they were lavender. plus they smell so good. Good idea of just sticking them into the grapevine wreath. Much more kid friendly than mine since I ended up putting it together almost on my own (even though I secretly liked it very much and didn’t want to share the fun!).

Your daughter’s purple floral dress and stripey tights are gorgeous! Lovely photos, too.

I love your Advent Wreath! So simple, but beautiful. Just like it should be, in my opinion. I also love that you involve your children. Sometimes I tend to get up in the “oh it should look this way”. I love how Silas climbed on the table to help! This is what your children will remember, not how the house looked. Happy Advent!

Simply lovely. Your night-time photographs are always especially beautiful, Ginny.

Thank you. I think you have inspired me to take my own Advent wreath-gathering walk today, and create my fifty-four-year-old-woman version, just for myself. Sometimes, one loses the thread for a little while, once the children are grown and away from home.
