That if I show you pictures of my pregnant self, that you won’t use the words “about to pop” in your comment. I get that a lot, and I find it a bit disturbing. I usually respond with, “I hope not.”
Beatrix thinks this one is really funny. I guess I’m giving my, “I’m warning you,” face.
My real motivation for asking Jonny to take these photos of me at 36 weeks pregnant(!!!) was to show off the shawl I received as a gift last week. I’m in love with it. It’s such a perfect neutral shade, a beautiful pattern that I wouldn’t dare attempt myself, and it dresses up my brown velour maternity pants just a bit, right?
Thank goodness I have Beatrix to help hold this big thing up.

Gorgeous…both you and the shawl (what a nice gift)! 🙂

That is an impressive bump indeed! My only child was born a month prematurely. I kept waiting, thinking the last month was going to be the time for me to really show, and that I could get some impressive pictures then. But alas, she had other plans 🙂 I have only one photo that shows my pregnant belly.

You look awesome!!

You are beautiful inside and out! I too hated those “about to pop” comments. Especially when I was only 6 months along. I’m a human with a new life inside me, not a huge balloon! God bless you as you prepare for your newest little one and praying for a safe and healthy delivery!
Ramona says
honestly, it’s the most beautiful pregnant belly I have ever seen. I wish I had mine like that. I would have been so proud!
Amanda Keeys says

You look like you’re about to…..have a baby! How very sweet of B to assist you. Enjoy your down time and the weather we’ve been having! Rest, rest, rest.
Kathy says
You look stunningly beautiful! I did not look so slim at 36 weeks. I will say, that boy looks pretty low for 36 weeks. No wonder you’re having trouble walking. And Beatrix looks like she’s gotten over her disappointment that baby will not be a girl! And finally – gosh, she looks so big! I didn’t realize I’d been away from your blog for so long, but she’s lookin like a little girl and not a toddler anymore!

You have a wonderful pregnant glow. I’m also going to ask if you’re sure you only have ONE in there.
My great niece had a baby boy last week. The dr. told them after the ultra sound that they were having a girl. Gracie turned out to be Jase!!! Guess he was hiding a little something on the ultrasound!!
Can’t wait to see your bundle of joy.

Wow – being great with child just suits you so well! The “holding up” up picture reminds me of how my son developed a habit of sneaking his hand under and up my shirt to rub my belly when I was at that stage of pregnancy. Then after the baby was born he kept doing it, going for my postpartum spare tire for comfort, I suppose. I was always amused by it. (and somewhat forgot about it until I saw your photo)
