~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~
Knitting: A Small Things Romper in Quince & Co. Lark yarn (twig colorway)
Reading: A wonderful book that I received as a gift last week, Atchafalaya Housebout. I’m trying to read it slowly. I love it.

Ginny, how long have you been knitting? I am currently learning but am finding it challenging. My cast on is ugly and I am having issues with tension. I am determined to learn though! Any pointers would be great. Thanks!

I have been knitting regularly for about six years. I recommend finding someone local to help you! Do you have a local yarn store? They often offer lessons.

Your romper is beautiful. Love the pattern and the yarn. Big fan of Quince & Co. Blessed babe will be well warmed this fall. The book has been added to my list. 🙂 hope you are having a good day and have a little down time to put your feet up. You’re an awesome mama.

I love that little sweater, it’s adorable. At first when I saw “small things” I thought that you were the designer!
Lovely wool too, I’ve yet to try quince & co, but I hope to find a project worthy of buying some soon!

This was one of the things I was supposed to knit for my boy, but never got around to it. I can’t wait to see how this one turns out!

I love the gray for your romper! I think a romper might be in the near future for my baby – little one piece outfits are one of my favorite choices for babies.
Thanks for hosting Yarn Along. I wrote on my post this week that it really is a highlight of my week at home with my kids. I can’t really explain it except I feel a kinship with other women as I follow their links and get glimpses of their lives (including yours).
