~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~
I’m knitting a little Baby Vertebrae sweater this week with Australian alpaca yarn that I received as a gift. (Thanks, Rachael!) It is a soft gray green color that coordinates well with the other things I’ve knit for this baby so far. I’m still reading The Keeper of the Bees. I am spending most of my evening time knitting, so the reading is slow.
I’m really liking the new link up tool! I love all those little knitting pictures, and I hope that you do too!

Hi Ginny, I hope you like my little ami Koalas. I enjoyed making them very much and have made a free pattern to anyone who would like them.
Thanks for your generosity and hope your pregnancy is going well.

Ginny, your photo this week is captivating . . . something about the soft misty color of the yarn against the quilt and the deeper turquoise shade of the book binding. I go through periods when I focus on reading and then others when I focus on knitting. I know a few people who knit and read *at the same time*–can you imagine? They are much more clever than I!
Love, love, love the color of that yarn. I’m so happy for you and and your family! I have five children, but always wish that we could have had more. Now I am too old.

Knitting for a new baby is always the best kind! I recently used an alpaca yarn for a milo vest for my littlest guy, and it feels so lovely.
The new link up is great, I really like seeing little ‘previews’ of what everyone is up to!
