Such beautiful, beautiful photographs Ginny. 🙂

May I ask you, what would you recommend in the way of a camera (and lenses etc) for someone wanting to pursue photography (as a hobby and possible career)?

And also, where you would suggest a Mum keen to pass on some skills in crafting (eg knitting, crochet, sewing, quilting etc) to her daughter would start if she has virtually no skills of her own? 😉 My 10 year old daughter LOVES to craft and I would love to be able to teach her more. Unfortunately I’ve no experience to draw on.

So two questions. I’d appreciate any advice you can offer! Once again. I just love your blog. So peaceful. 🙂

Thank you very much! I’m going to start saving for a camera and lens, I think. I seem to often receive many positive comments on my photographs despite the fact that all I use is my iphone camera. I think, as you have described, it’s more that I see the beauty in the everyday and the simple things. I love to capture ‘moments’ and I always have my phone with me. Still, I would love to pursue photography further. 🙂 And knitting… well, perhaps that can be a mid-year Winter night-time activity for me to pursue! Much love, Saminda x

I love that you let your kids climb trees! So many parents today won’t let their kids climb trees. I’ve also been inspired to knit Little Man his own Christmas stocking…maybe not for next year but we’ll see. I have a book somewhere in one of my boxes.
