Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

Today was the first day we used our woodstove this season.  I’ve been cold all week, but right now, sitting here on Tuesday evening, it’s hot in here.  I’m waiting on my next fiction read to arrive, and have been reading The Beekeeper’s Handbook whenever I can.  I am working on Beatrix’s Bulle, and hoping to have it finished soon now that the weather is cold.

Grab a button for your post or sidebar! Visit the Yarn Along page for additional button colors!
Below is a linky list if you’d like to link up and join the Yarn Along.
(1) Make sure the link you submit is to the URL of your blog post or your specific Flickr photo and not your main blog URL or Flickr Photostream. Please be sure and link to your current Yarn Along post, and not a Yarn Along post from a previous week.
(2) Include a link back to this post in your blog post or on your flickr photo page so that others who may want to join the Yarn Along can find us!
(3) If you have any trouble linking up, just email me and I will help you!
You can also join the Flickr Yarn Along group to share your knitting and reading photos anytime!

I haven’t read anything in the past week, since I was busy watching season 3 of Downton Abbey…

Thanks, Ginny – I’m so thrilled to be joining in with the Yarn Along today!

By the way, that sweater is looking absolutely lovely. I do love Amber Trinket…

Sorry, guys, I’m too old to figure out a personal URL! I’ve been knitting longer than you’ve been alive, most of you. But I adore knitting and am currently making several pairs of socks, a pleated skirt for my granddaughter, a Tree of Life baby afghan, some doll clothes for a needy child & for my granddaughter and grandnephew, AND nice scarves for the three doctors who saved my left leg last year. So I’ll be clicking onto this site as often as possible.

Love reading about your beekeeping journey and I hope it prospers richly. I’m a bit jealous of your snuggly warm wood stove. Thank you for hosting the YA each week. Really enjoying being a part of it.

What a beautiful knit, I like the color of the wool … I miss the heat of a stove, I love knitting by the fire …
