Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~
Yarn Along

Knitting:  Circumnavigate in Eulela DK  (almost halfway finished, taking my time.  lovely pattern, lovely yarn.)

Reading:  Far from the Madding Crowd  (in chapter two, so no real opinion yet.)

The little orange sweater is finished.  I love it after all.  Pictures tomorrow!

Grab a button for your post or sidebar! Visit the Yarn Along page for additional button colors!
Below is a linky list if you’d like to link up and join the Yarn Along.
(1) Make sure the link you submit is to the URL of your blog post or your specific Flickr photo and not your main blog URL or Flickr Photostream. Please be sure and link to your current Yarn Along post, and not a Yarn Along post from a previous week.
(2) Include a link back to this post in your blog post or on your flickr photo page so that others who may want to join the Yarn Along can find us!
(3) If you have any trouble linking up, just email me and I will help you!
You can also join the Flickr Yarn Along group to share your knitting and reading photos anytime!

I am exactly halfway thru knitting the Circumnavigate myself. This is the first thing I am knitting for myself, and not for the kids. Nice rich color you chose.

I haven’t read any Hardy in a LONG time. You almost make me want to go back and read him again (it’s just too much concentration for me right now). I love the scarf you are working on!

I am knitting the exact same scarf! It is very lovely I think. I am sure you will finish long before I do though. Hardy is good, but I haven’t tackled him in a while.

Thanks so much for hosting this every week! One of my favorite rituals is this mid-week link up, whether I put up a post or not I love being able to see what everyone is reading and knitting 🙂

    Best wishes!

    Hi Ginny
This is the first time I’ve joined in, so thanks for hosting.
I love the colour of your yarn, a perfect shade for cold days.
Good luck with the books I alway struggle with classics apart from
    Jane Austen.

Lovely yarn for your circumnavigate, I finished knitting mine about a week ago, beautiful pattern. Far From the Madding Crowd was my setwork book for my English major, I really enjoyed it.
    Take care

I can’t think of “Far from the Madding Crowd” without thinking of Alan Bates, who was my favorite actor. I also read the book years ago, but can’t remember my opinion of it.

Oh, I have that pattern – I saw it somewhere in my Yarn Along travels a few months ago & fell in love. I haven’t made it yet, though. Yours looks lovely; the yarn is perfect for it. I also think you will love Far from the Madding Crowd; I read it in school and liked it very much. (Now I think you have inspired me to go through some boxes of books in the attic to find my copy…) xo
