Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

As I write this on Tuesday evening, I am sitting in a very messy house.  I have spent the past week focusing most of my free time finishing up the pattern for my Sunday Sweater.  I cast on another one too, in some orange yarn that we dyed last summer.  I am hoping to have the Sunday Sweater pattern available in the next couple of weeks.  Now I have to shift my attention to my house because we have company coming to stay tomorrow.  I am having issues getting focused on the cleaning that needs to happen, there are just too many choices.  I am doing silly things like organizing books and pencils when I really should be cleaning floors and toilets.
I am on the last chapter of All Wound Up, and have read the introduction to Project Based Homeschooling, a book that people keep telling me that I absolutely need to read.  So I am!  I can always use homeschooling motivation and inspiration, and the introduction to the book alone has me excited.

Looking forward to seeing your pattern Ginny, such a gorgeous cardigan! Think I might knit one for my niece. I don’t blame you for putting off the cleaning, I can always find something more interesting to do too! I’m sure you will get all the important things done in the end. Have a lovely week, Julie 🙂

That orange is so beautiful- such a fall colour.
So sorry I linked 3 times- the first time must have been an old link I added to the widget long ago and then send time I muddled it. Third times a charm! Good luck getting all the cleaning done! xo m.

Today when I should have been packing for our trip (which begins in 5 hours), I found myself cleaning children’s dresser…I know how those silly distractions go. 🙂
    I love the orange wool!

    Ginny,
I love that color orange and look forward to seeing another Sunday Sweater. 🙂

I want to read something by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, I need to get over to the library.

I joined in today with another elf hat. I love knitting those.

    Love, Taryn
