Sorting my mind out

(Seth and I made a purchase today.  This lovely typewriter is pristine and even came with it’s original manual.  Oh, and it’s robin’s egg blue-not that you can tell in this poorly lit photo.)
(The kids are having a lot of fun with it already.  Evidently their favorite word is “toot.”)
So, I have a lot on my mind and a lot on my to-do list.  Keep in mind that this is a list of things I want to do, some things being more important than others.  This is not a list of things I am stressing out about!  I am going to write out some of my list here, as a sort of check list, and the reason I need a bit of a break from this space.  My time is just so limited, and I want to get some things done!  I will be back sometime soon.
(I want) TO DO:
Leave town for two days, get enough sleep to clear my head,
come home and
night wean Beatrix (see I found middle ground-baby steps)
Finish knitting Larkspur’s too big sweater
(hopefully on my trip)
Finish Larkspur’s tea leaves sweater
Cast on Phoebe’s Sweater for Beatrix
share the photo notecards I have been making and loving
start working on my homeschool plans for this fall
I am ready for change and making my plans more personalized and interesting to me
finally learn how to actually embrace the liturgical calendar and really truly make it part of our life
rather than getting overwhelmed with it all
(that’s my biggie for this fall)
finish my piano theory book
practice piano every single day without fail
clear out that last onion bed and plant it with buckwheat
pull hundreds of morninglories-the result of the rain we just had
take the kids to alum springs to float their boats
sew Larkspur and Beatrix matching church dresses
find the perfect sweater pattern for Seth and…cast on
choose a paint color for my kitchen
paint the stairs aqua
read, read, read
get the first two years of this blog printed
finish Gabe’s life story book
Be an always in the present mother
convince my kids to call me “Marmie.”
just kidding, I tried they didn’t go for it.
Oh my, I better stop.  I could go on and on.  Actually as I think of more I may come back and add to the list.  I like lists.
Have a great week!
