A boy and his bird

This is Seth with his favorite hen, “Trouble.”
Trouble is the friendliest of our chickens, and earned her name by roosting in the cedar tree next to our coop back when our chickens first got big enough to free range during the day.  Every evening, one of the boys would have to climb that tree to get her down and put her in the henhouse with all the other chickens.
Seth and Trouble have a special relationship.
You don’t mind a little “seafood” do you?
Trouble doesn’t mind it a bit.
In fact, I think she likes it.
A special relationship indeed.
(**this is supposed to be a bit gross and humorous.  seriously-the chicken grabbed bread out of his mouth.)
