Up my sleeve and on my mind

I’ve got a plan for this local Virginia yarn,
for this thrifted sheet,
and for all this pink and purple that Larkspur picked out.
The yoke of this sweater (I modified the pattern, also for Larkspur) seems to be taking me forever, maybe because I’ve been reading  Miracles: Healing for a Broken World rather than knitting.  How fun to read a book written by someone I know in real life.  I can just hear him telling all these stories in his funny Father Stefan way.
I have a really cool plan for all that red and yellow based on The Princess in the Forest.
But, I’ve also got 100 strawberry plants to get in the ground.  And there’s homeschooling.  It’s so hard to make myself keep up with it now that spring is in full swing and the garden is calling us!  I started setting up an outdoor classroom next to the garden yesterday, but today it rained all day and it looks like we’ve got rain for most of the next week.  Blah.  I could so easily fill up my days and every hour of the night with all this good stuff.  Too bad sleep is sort of necessary.
