Wearing Beatrix, supervising the children and chickens (letting them all free range this afternoon), all while knitting a teensy tiny something, on a teensy tiny set of circular needles, for a teensy tiny person who is due to make her debut later this month.

I'm very impressed. You also appear to be walking, which is most amazing. I am lucky to be able to walk and talk.

Impressive, very impressive. You must be the Queen of multitasking.

See…you can do it all. Way to multi-task.

Essie, they are actually 4s, but what I was really referring to was the fact that it's a 12" circular, which people don't typically use. They are perfect for a newborn hat though. I avoid double points until absolutely necessary.

You, my lady, are a true knitter! Dedicated to the umpteenth degree. I don't multi-task well. Not at all. When I was your age I could handle it but now that I am "over the hill" I find it very taxing. I would much rather do one thing at a time and since I don't have 6 little ones running circles around me I don't have a problem. I did, however, just discover that I ordered the wrong size needles from KP. I ordered 16" fixed 1s and 2s and I meant to order 32". I like the longer cables. Rats! Guess I'll have to figure out how to return and exchange merchandise with KP. Or find someone who wants to buy them from me. But it will give me a chance to check out the points on the nickel-plated ones. I like really, really sharp points. If they aren't as sharp as Harmony, I'll go ahead and switch to them when I return these I've ordered. Little Bea looks as happy as can be there riding mommy's back. See ya…

Geez, what size needles are they, I can't even see them in the pic!The smallest I will use is a 4 for knitting socks. I have NO patience for anything smaller. And yes, that means I can't use a lot of the really pretty and cool sock yarns available now. No patience and no fine motor skills lol!
