Nervous, excited, hoping to get some sleep.

Tomorrow morning I am leaving my family to drive a couple of hours away to second shoot a wedding with Lori. We have had this planned since Beatrix was tiny, but that doesn’t change the fact that it is going to be hard. We started out planning to bring Beatrix along with a couple of babysitters, but since Beatrix won’t nurse in public (she is still insistent on nursing while lying down in my bed :), I decided to leave her home with Jonny and the rest of the gang. I didn’t feel like we could pull off looking professional at this wedding with a loud infant in tow anyway. I know everything will be okay; Beatrix drank a bottle of formula last week with no ill effect, so we are good in that department. I am packing a pump so hopefully I will be okay in that dept. too…
Even so, Beatrix and I are pretty darn attached to one another. I hope she doesn’t miss me. I am hoping that since she won’t be able to see me, she won’t know I am gone. Does that make sense? She is always happy with Jonny until I walk in the room.
Okay, off to bed.
I have everything ready to go; now if I can just get some sleep!

Looks like you were right. She didn't see you so she didn't miss you. But I bet once you got home she latched onto you with all her might!

Praying that all went or is going well!!!!! My youngest, Hope, is the exact same way. If I enter the room she wants only me and is loud in sharing her opinion, but if I am away she is great for her Daddy and siblings. She is just such a doll, Ginny, you must kiss her constantly : ) Blessings to you~
