Keats liked the book of photos of himself I had made for his birthday. The book documents his 6th year of life.

Larkspur always dresses herself now. If I dress her she goes and changes her clothes almost immediately, so why bother? Her room is always strewn with clothing. She describes the outfits she puts together as “princess clothes.” She is really into layering-with little logic going into the layers. As long as it’s all pink…
And unfortunately her favorite accessory is still the pacifier 🙁

If it makes you feel better, my own daughters recoil when I have to raise my voice at her. Like you, it happens when the situation is urgent or when she has done something very offensive (rare) and my hands are full. The 6 1/2 year old will go hide, the 5 1/2 year old will cry. I do the same thing you did–go and apologize for raising my voice but insist that whatever they did was either inappropriate or dangerous. My heart aches for you, though. I can imagine how you must have felt! I love the pink layering you described with Lark. My 5 1/2 year old does the same thing. I counted her collars the other day and came up with FIVE. She had FIVE shirts on, all the same color and all matching her pants. It made me laugh…and then I realized that it would all end up in the laundry if I didn't remind her to put the 4 under layers back into her drawer at the end of the day (she only wore them for a few hours). Kids are so funny. As always, I am very impressed with your family and how you are doing (not so) small things with great love. God bless you!

Love the picture of Lark where she layered her outfit with hat & pacifier. She would make a perfect buddy for my granddaughter Ava. Who also loves to coordinate her outfits, wear all things princess, travel with a binky and several chapsticks in hand. LOL Yep, they are a perfect pair.

Hi Annie,I love the book I had made. The quality is excellent. I did order it with the higher quality paper (you are given the choice) and the wrap around photo hard cover. So I chose one photo for the cover and another for the back. I wish I had the time and money to make lots more of these. I posted about it a couple of weeks ago and there is a link to the preview of the book and the website where I made it. I can try and take some pictures of the book, but I don't think you would be able to tell much from a photo of it.

Dear photos….I love your house. Could you post some close ups of the booklet of photos you had done? I am curious if you are happy with it – the quality, the feel and so forth.
