Beatrix is Here!

Welcome Baby!
Originally uploaded by Lori Elizabeth

Beatrix Rose Marie was born at 3:09 a.m. November 16.
She weighed in at 7 lbs 12 oz, and is 20 inches long.
I had a harder time than in my past births but was surrounded by my family, two close friends, and two great midwives. I will post details later-this photo was taken by my friend Lori who photographed the whole thing. Thanks for your prayers, and a huge thanks to Eve and Lori for being such great friends!
Praise God for another perfect and beautiful baby!

Oh, my!! I feel like a grandma again! This is so wonderful!! I'm over here cheering and my hubby is behind me wondering what all the noise is about (I must be interfering with his football game)!! Yea! Ginny!!! And what a beautiful bundle of joy she is, I might add!! I can only punctuate with exclamation points because it's the only one that fits the occasion! I'm looking forward to more pics and hopefully a really good one of mom and dad and baby all together, celebrating life!! I didn't think to check before I left for church and then got busy knitting after I got home when it suddenly dawned on me that you could have given birth. I quickly called up your site and voila! a baby. Now Lark has a younger sister to torment when they get to be subteens. Oh this is really great! I am so happy. I've been expecting this baby for what seems like months now (well really, it HAS been months) and I have a new grandbaby! Beatrix (hope I spelled it right) is a name for royalty and while she may be the new little princess on the block, Mom's the real royalty. Sorry your delivery was harder though. That was a real bummer for you I bet. Oh, Ginny, I am soooo happy!! This just makes my day. Happy Birthday to Beatrix and Happy Birthing Day to Ginny. Okay, now you get some rest and I expect to see more pics very soon, like by tomorrow!! I couldn't be happier for you, Ginny and Jonny!!! Oh a baby, a baby and I don't have her Birthday present finished. Boo! Hopefully I'll get it done before she outgrows them. Oh my! Happy, Happy Birthday baby!! And your boys will be home in no time to lavish their love and concern on her, their little sister. Beatrix has more siblings than she knows what to do with! I had said I wanted a baby THIS weekend and I got my wish. God bless you, Ginny, and God bless Jonny too. This is just too wonderful for words. Moses and Samuel should be there to welcome her into the world! But first things first!Love you very much–Marj
