39 weeks and a couple of days

So I guess this is what the end looks like. My stomach is so enormous that sitting in a ladylike position is pretty much impossible. I am wondering just how much this baby weighs…

My back is really killing me so I am not doing a whole lot. It is sort of like one project per day and then I am dead. Today I re-organized all the boys clothes in an effort to stop them from ruining all their good clothes by wearing them outside in the mud. I think I have everything well separated enough now and labeled so that they won’t get play clothes confused with those clothes that I try to reserve for when we leave the house. I also made room for Samuel and Moses’ clothes since we are anticipating them soon.
Spending a lot of time sitting in one spot means I am getting a lot of knitting done. I am almost finished with Keats’ hat. He picked the yarn himself-sort of a crazy multi blue toned wool. My body is acting sort of crazy-who knows when I will have the baby. I suppose in the next week-but hopefully not in the next 12 hours because Jonny has to finish up a bunch of work for his paying job (I say that to differentiate between that and the work that I give him-you know-get this done before the baby is born stuff 🙂

Hi! I linked to your blog from comments in another blog. You had said that you like to "meet" other Catholic moms, so I thought I'd come on over. Your tummy brings back all kinds of memories; it gets a little crazy that last month of pregnancy. Good luck with this delivery! I'm amazed by your story! It seems that Moses and Samuel have a lot to look forward to! May God bless your family! You're welcome to head on over here for a peek anytime. Again, good luck and God bless !http://prosopiavita.blogspot.com/

Hey, I finally took your advice and decided to take up knitting. You told me a long time ago that I should. 😉 I just took it out and tried to figure out how to "cast on" last night. I've got a long way to go. My stitches were all wobbly and I only did 15. lol. Those hats you made are really sweet. I can't wait to see the baby wearing them. 🙂

Beautiful tummy! Isn't it just beyond amazing to know there is a fully formed, big, strong, ready-for-the-world baby in there? I always am in awe moments after one of my babies are born, holding the baby in my arms and knowing I was actually holding them in my womb moments before! It is always a miracle.

Thanks for the update, I was wondering if the baby arrived this weekend or not. I too am sitting in one spot, crocheting bookmarks for my niece's wedding favors. I'm sitting still to avoid pain, the doctor believes my gallbladder is acting up. At the end of all this pain, I either get free of it, or I get surgery (more pain). NO PRESENT like your getting. LOL Good luck to you. Please keep posting I so enjoy reading your blog.
