I wasn’t able to get all my yarn listed in my last shop update, so I’m doing a little last minute update today at 9:30 a.m. ET. There is a bit of yarn in some fun colors, some Soft Citrus goat milk soap, a few cutting boards, and a couple of little bird shawl pins as well!
On a side note: There is some debate about whether or not to reskein yarn, which is essentially taking a skein, and rewinding it on a yarn swift. I reskein all of my yarn before listing it in my shop. Doing so redistributes the color, and makes the skeins look neat and tidy. I’m a fan of neat and tidy. But most importantly (and the main reason I do it), re-skeining ensures that I don’t send you a tangled skein! Every now and then I have one that takes me a good half hour to untangle, and better me than you!
I got some really lovely feedback about my yarn recently and it totally made my week. I’m so very grateful to be able to bring you beautiful yarn that is American sourced, minimally processed, and naturally dyed for your own knitting (or crochet!) projects.
When you purchase my yarn, I hope that it brings you a bit of beauty and happiness!

You have the most beautiful yarn, Ginny! And I love how you share what it was dyed with. Knowing what plants were used for the colors makes it so very special.

I love how dedicated you are at your dyeing business. I love the colors and neatly skeined wool is nice to ball up!!

It surely does, it’s so soft and beautiful! I’m having such a wonderful time knitting for my soon-to-be (June!) baby boy with your wool… here is his baby blanket! https://www.ravelry.com/projects/Tinoftea/bounce

Beautiful colors, as always! I have heard about this debate occasionally (reskeining or not reskeining), but I can’t figure out why one would NOT want their yarn reskeined. Please share. 🙂
God bless you,
Michele

Ohhh I wish I could buy some!! I’ve been itching to knit, and can’t get my hands on any yarn for the life of me here in Guatemala. Sigh. Love, love, love your thoughts, insights, reflections, and open heart. Thanks so much for sharing. You are a bright light.

Oh my! Those greens and purple in the first photo took my breath away! They are Gorgeous!!

I am SO GLAD you do that. I hate it when I buy yarn from some companies and I get a tangled skein that is basically unusable….makes me so unhappy! One more reason I love your yarn. 🙂
