~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! Share your photo on your blog, on Instagram (#yarnalong), or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us!~
This week I’m beginning the decreases on the Henny hat and on the recommendation of several friends, I’m reading The Lifegiving Home: Creating a Place of Belonging and Becoming.

I haven’t read that book but as we are moving to our first real home next month it looks like a perfect read. Since we are moving all of my crafting (and homeschooling and reading) has come to a standstill. I will have to add it to my list for after the move. Thank you Ginny!

That yarn color is beautiful.
I definitely want to read that book. It is my hope our library system will carry it as I can not buy all the books I wish to read.
Have a beautiful day!

I didn’t feel right commenting on the Lent post, but may I just say the picture of your dog reading the action Bible has got to be one of my favorite photos ever. He is so intent. Now if you could get a picture of him knitting…He could be your yarn along mascot. Still giggling over that picture.

I love the color of your hat. I’m interested to know what you think about this book. I’ve read many of her books and I’m just wondering if it is similar to other things she has written.

Oh I love Sally Clarkson. It is so empowering to have someone tell you that it is OK to have a bad day and help you make it all better.

Such a beautiful hat! And I just want to say thank you for gathering so many people together for this every week. It’s been fun to participate and to get exposure to so many great blogs. There’s something very humanizing about seeing work on the needles rather than just the washed and blocked finished product.

That book looks like something I’d like!

I love Sally Clarkson. My copy of her Educating the Wholehearted Child was worn out from all the love I gave it in our years of homeschooling ;^)
