~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! Share your photo on your blog, on Instagram (#yarnalong), or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us!~
My knitting has been all over the place this week. For the past couple of days I have been working on my Settler Shawl, as it’s been hibernating for awhile now and needs some attention. I think it will be so pretty when it’s finished! (The yarn is called Flock.)
I’m still reading My Antonia, and Mornings with Saint Therese. But not too much reading. The Saint Therese book is a quick morning read each day, but as far as other reading goes, my eyes don’t cooperate at bedtime lately, my typical time to read for a bit. It’s nice to be reading My Antonia again, even if I only read a few pages each night.

I think I’m going to ask for the St. Therese book for my birthday. You always choose such lovely colors for your projects. ♥

Nothing like a good devotional for morning reading…I find I only get a couple pages in at bedtime as well. Lovely yarn! Looking forward to seeing the shawl when it’s all done. 🙂

My eyes did some really strange things this last pregnancy (my 4th) and now I need bifocals at age 34! Reading became more and more difficult the further I progressed. Your shawl colors are lovely…I have one WIP shawl that’s been in hibernation for over ten years, wonder if I could even determine what is going on with it at this point if I brought it out…not that I’d have the time right now to devote to the task with a newborn. 🙂

beautiful shawl to be!!! I plan on reading lots today, my son left to go back to Boston for school (sniff) so I have miles of time, after I clean the house.

I think your shawl will be so pretty too, I love the colors.
I had to read during the middle of the day because I wanted to finish my book and can’t at night,
I fall asleep.
