~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading (though not at the same time!), and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

I love the fresh green of that yarn! Perfect for spring mittens!
I finished my first hat recently, and prior to that I had never used circular needles or DPN. I am hooked on both! The thought of making socks used to scare me, but now that I’ve tried this whole knitting in the round thing, I love it!

I love how the cover of your book mimics the link up itself; a mosaic of pretty squares.

Oh good! I must admit I’ve been holding my breath a little.

Thanks for hosting. I love to see what everyone is making and reading, including you. I agree with many commentors that the color of your mitts is really nice.
Gwendolyn says
Love the mitts you are knitting. I couldn’t tell if it would be “hard” or “easy” to knit. Ginny, do you feel a beginning knitter would be able to do this? I didn’t have any problem with your “Newborn Hat with a Touch of Lace”. Just checking to see if the pattern is pretty good about spelling out things like you do.

Gwen, I hate to ever discourage someone from trying a new pattern, but I think these are a tad bit tricky…

I love seeing what everyone is reading and knitting. I may not be able to add an actual picture link thing until I get to the library tomorrow.

What lovely mitts. I think that color is one of my favorites, but no one else in my house seems to agree with me. Hope you are warm today, snuggled under blankets.
