Ginny, you do look the same. Amazing. Is it the same jumper too ? ;-D (in any case, keep it, it looks good and so comfortable!)
You both look gorgeous, on both pictures. Happiness does that, I am sure.
Lane says
Jonny looks like a BABY in that first picture! And you look the same. It’s hard to imagine that’s the last time I saw either of you… right after Seth was born and we were moving my brother into his room at UGA.
Ginny says
Lane, he really does! It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago…

I love it. Our oldest was born the first week of 2000. He’ll be 14(!) in two weeks. And our latest is due in March, with several children scattered in between. I’m going to have to look up some very early family pictures with our first and maybe recreate them for comparison’s sake!
amy says
i adore this. i love how unsure you both look in the first and how relaxed and confident you are in the second. about sums it up, right?! xx
Linda says
Beautiful. Do you have one like that for all of the children? That would be great fun to see. Your family is so beautiful.
Tracey says
Gosh, you two never age! You both are just a beautiful couple and those babies are beyond gorgeous!
Annie says
Lovely photos, how come you guys look the same 13 years later?
Knitty Gritty Homestead says
It’s always a good idea to take pictures of our new babes JUST with their parents, isn’t it? Thanks for the reminder! Ours always pile into photos at every opportunity. You two don’t look like the parenting journey has aged you too much! So much joy.
Ale says
Lovely!!!
Lily says
What lovely photos and you look exactly the same as 13 years ago despite all that hard Mumu work! xxx

This is what I LOVE about these pictures: In the first one with your first babe, he’s sleeping and Johnny looks a teeny bit overwhelmed. In the other picture, Job is screaming his head off, and you both couldn’t be more relaxed! Such a difference experience we have with our first and last babes! You look beautiful in both pictures, Ginny! You have a beautiful family!
Sylvia says
You look the same Ginny. Two lovely photos.
Diane says
Awesome. π Ginny, you hardly look any different at all!
Dawn says
Great photos! You don’t appear to have aged at all!
Nancy M says

What wonderful pictures, I love how happy and confident you both are now. It does make a difference after you have had some practice at being parents!! Thanks for sharing the pictures, they are super!
Lydia says
Lovely! This has inspired me to dig up some pictures of my husband and I with our first little..when I was just 19 years old.
Renee Anne says
I love both of these photos π
Trista says
How sweet! You both are blessed with a lovely family and most of all because you know it and cherish them all with love and your time. It may sound like a given, but it’s a huge and wonderful choice you have both made to really dedicate yourselves to being present and loving parents and as someone in society who will benefit from the fine people you are raising, I want to thank you. Your children will grow up an in their turns give so much back to everyone and to their own children too!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!
Betsy M says
I love this – beautiful.
Kelly says
Haha! I love your husband’s slightly worried expression in the first photo, and his carefree smiling face in the second….demonstrates the difference between first time and subsequent babies perfectly π
And you haven’t changed at all!!
Jen says
I totally agree with Kelly! Almost exactly what I was going to type. π Lovely photos of a lovely family!
Katerina says
Ginny you look absolutly the same!!! π
Elizabeth says
Oh, that picture of Job is just precious; and the one of you with Seth; how lovely; what a neat comparison! so much joy is in the picture of you both with Job, you are both growing as parents and as a family! Blessed day to you!!
Lisa G. says
Ginny, you haven’t aged in thirteen years. Pretty good!
Julia says
Beautiful, just beautiful.
Ashley says
We did a little family photo shoot with our son when he was three months. In about 90% of the photos he is either crying or breastfeeding. Ha π But it is fun to have those photos for us to look back on and remember what he was like at that age, even if he wasn’t a smiling picture of perfection.
Sue says
you hardly look any different, you must be doing something right with all you do!
priest's wife (@byzcathwife) says
perfect! The first photo, parents seem a bit uncertain even though baby is calm- last photo- baby is crying, but parents are confident!
Ginny says
I was thinking the same thing! Seth was actually a very fussy baby. He cried all. the. time. We were probably really nervous having those photos taken with him, that he would start crying and we wouldn’t get the “perfect shot.”
Jenny says
I was thinking the exact same thing!
Theresa@OrdinaryLovely says
yep! I agree! What a fun comparison!
harleygirl says
I’m glad you posted this picture. π A lot of people want the “perfect” photo of their baby, but I was always the one who put whatever actually happened. ha, ha. Sleeping, crying, whatever. That was my baby at that moment. I love it! π
