~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~
I’ve been slowly working on my Scroll Lace Scarf for weeks now, meaning to do one little lace repeat each evening, but oftentimes not getting around to it. I finally finished those lace repeats yesterday though, and now it’s back and forth knitting for the rest of the scarf. I really want to finish it this month because it is such an October color! I finished the green Milo vest I was working on for Silas and it really fits him terribly. It’s too wide, too short, and it is rolling up at the bottom. So I guess that means I am going to rip it back, knit it longer, and tell myself that it will be perfect for him next year. I’ll try to knit him another for this year…but he may just end up wearing the too big one.
I finished reading The Woman in White last week and highly recommend it. Per the suggestion of one of you, I have started reading Hannah Coulter by Wendell Berry. This book has been sitting on my “to read” list for a couple of years now, and I am so glad to be finally reading it. This is my first time reading Wendell Berry. So far I love his style and love this book, so I doubt it will be my last.
