Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

Yarn Along

First, thank you for the compliments on my February Lady Sweater. You all made my day!

This week I’ve been getting organized and ready for new knitting projects and trying to actually finish reading the last of the stack of books that I have been reading all at once (well all at once, but not much at all-does that make sense?)

I’ve organized my project bags with yarn, patterns, and needles for three projects.  So far I’ve cast on for Circumnavigate.  I’ve been looking forward to knitting this for some time.

I am almost finished reading He Leadeth Me.  I’ve been reading it for a year or more…I don’t know why it’s taking me forever…lots to digest I suppose, but so very good for the soul.

And in those lighter moments, I am still loving Merry Hall.  Gardening with cats and flowers and a funny man; the only thing this book is missing is a bit of knitting.

(2) Include a link back to this post in your blog post or on your flickr photo page so that others who may want to join the Yarn Along can find us!
(3) If you have any trouble linking up, just email me and I will help you!
You can also join the Flickr Yarn Along group to share your knitting and reading photos anytime!

  1. Your color choice is beautiful! I got a cookbook from across the pond. It’s amazing at how much I don’t know about ingredients, etc.! It’s been fun looking though.

  2. Melissa L says:

I’m in the middle of Merry Hall and I LOVE it! Thanks for recommending it!

  3. This will sound like a silly question, but I’m very interested in how you organize your new projects…what kind of bags you use, etc. I need some tips! 🙂

  4. Whoops sorry Ginny…I accidentally linked my last post over I couldn’t see it on your page so linked the current one then the other one showed up! So I’ve linked over twice and can’t undo the first one! I hope that makes sense….sorry!

I love all the images of your February Lady sweater…great colour…I really want to make one now…another plan…

  5. Hullo! My sister told me about this yarn along and I have been excited to do it ever since! Reading and Crocheting are my one weakness. …one?

  6. I’ve had my eye on Circumnavigate too. Love the colour you’ve chosen 😀

I love to hear from you!
