In an act of self control suggested to me by my husband, this week I have focused my evening knitting time on this lacy scarf that I began many months ago. It hasn’t been finished mainly because projects I was working on for other people were my priority (the quick projects knit mainly for myself for instant gratification don’t count, right?) I had actually decided to set this project aside until next winter entirely, but liked the challenge not to cast anything else on just yet. This is my first scarf, and while I love the pattern and the yarn, scarves are…long! I am past the half way mark, so maybe I’ll finish it up in another week or two.
I’m still reading Little Heathens as well. I am really enjoying it, and have even found myself copying some of the simple recipes included into my recipe journal
I mentioned in a post yesterday that I am keeping comments closed on my blog for Lent (until after Easter Sunday.) I am hoping that it won’t be an issue for the Yarn Along. Feel free to email me if you have concerns.
