It snowed a bit this evening, but has already stopped with no accumulation. My kids are disappointed of course. (but wait, it’s picking up again…maybe we’ll have a bit of snow on the ground yet.)
Beatrix stood in the snow happily catching flakes in her mouth for some time. Jonny I were afraid that Intruder would bite her, as he has a tendency to bite legs.
We warned her, but she assured us that he’s “her cat” and wouldn’t bite her. He didn’t.

Hee hee hee. Love cats that pat (you say pet?) themselves! 😀
Morgan says
He might be a literal ankle biter, but that kitty clearly loves Miss Beatrix. 🙂

I love these pictures and I agree with the other comments. Intruder definitely looks like he loves his girl. And Bea is having so much fun with the snow. I could look at pictures like this for a very long time. Innocence complete!
Thanks a bunch,
Blessings,
Betsy

Wow, Ginny–I really did laugh out loud! Bea is always good for a smile, but the cat demanding her attention made it all the funnier! Love this, and will share it with Bret and the kids…

Beautiful pictures! Beautiful cat. And of course, beautiful daughter! Pink and snowflakes would be one of my favourite combinations, I believe.

A Guyra Girl says
Intruder certainly does seem to be her cat going by the amount of affection he’s putting into trying to get her attention. Absolutely gorgeous – cat, girl and snow!
Marfa says
I know, my kids feel the same way…hoping it will snow a bunch and cover the grass so we can really enjoy it! I do, too.
Amazing how loving your cat is, almost as big at Beatrix…precious. My daughter has a top with the same leaf pattern as your daughter’s leggings!
Nessa says
That certainly does look like he belongs to her… lots of love in those rubs.
Emily T. says
Oh no.. Intruder has that lovestruck attitude with Bea. She is so adorable out there catching snowflakes.
Maria says
hahahahahaha Bea and Intruder – each completely engrossed in their individual objectives, oblivious to the other’s.
Courtney says
So sweet. This winter certainly has been a let down in the snow department. Earlier this week they were saying possibly an inch or so (her in Southern PA) but we didn’t even get that.

Amazing pictures! Being a cat person, I totally dig the levitating cat pose. Intruder looks like my Ramses. He’ll do anything for a scratch from the right person, too.

He LOVES her! My cats generally zip far far away when the 2 1/2 year old is nearby. This is awesome.

You lovely photos of your sweet girl and “her cat” are exactly what my tired eyes and mind needed to see tonight. Thank you so much for sharing them. Both girl and cat look quite pleased.

I hope the cat doesn’t bite anyone – but he sure looks cute in the pictures! Adorable.
Tracey says
Yes, he does look like he is enjoying himself with his girl.
How nice to watch the snow fall even if it didn’t hang around. We received some much needed rain so I am thankful.
