~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~
Well, I forgot to take a Yarn Along photo today! I thought of this one that I took yesterday though. I had been nursing Silas while attempting to alternate knitting and reading (when my arm got sore)and he fell asleep for a few minutes. It was late in the day, so there wasn’t much light, but that fuzzy bit of gray in the right corner is Silas’ Small Things sweater, and my book is there on the pillow. I started reading The Ministry of Motherhood yesterday, and am planning to treat it like a six week book study. I need encouragement and guidance right now!
I finished reading The House of Sixty Fathers to Keats and Gabe and highly recommend it (although, maybe not for kids younger than 8 or so.) I made it through the whole thing without crying, but burst into tears just after I finished reading the last page and closed the book. I am having a hard time choosing a read aloud book to follow this one! We really, really loved it.
