Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a single photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

This week I decided to knit simple spring cardigans for Larkspur and Beatrix’s dolls, Susan and Lucy.  I am using the free Little Kina pattern (and here it is on ravelry), and some sort of ugly yarn that I bought at last Fall’s fiber festival, only because it was spun in New Mexico.  The woman whom I purchased it from told me that she over-dyed it because the original artist didn’t do a good job.  I am assuming it was dyed with Kool-aid as it smells like candy.  I wonder what it looked like before?
Beatrix requested that Lucy’s cardigan get a pink button and then requested a bigger version for herself, and Larkspur has instructed me to hurry up with Susan’s as her birthday is very soon.  Larkspur’s birthday is in a few days as well…I wonder if she and Susan have the same birthday?
On a tip from a reader, tonight I am going to start reading Tumtum & Nutmeg: Adventures Beyond Nutmouse Hall aloud, as my boys are on a mouse kick.
Below is a linky list if you’d like to add a link to your own Yarn Along photo.
