It seems that I blinked, and February, the month I always dread, is over and gone. I don’t think I will allow myself to dread it anymore!
With March comes so many changes! I’ve just begun my third trimester, the garden has begun calling, and I’ve asked Jonny if it might be allright if we end the school year now, (he thinks no.)
I’ve also made a few changes on my blog, namely moving all of my tutorial and idea links to their own place. You can access them all through the link in the header bar under my banner photo.

My other news is that I’ve accepted sponsorship from Stubby Pencil Studio. Up until now, I have not been seeking sponsorships; in fact, I have been declining them for the most part. But, when I got an email from Kate, the mom who runs Stubby Pencil, asking if I would be interested in pursuing this with her, I decided there was no reason not to. I have been ordering from her for two years now; love her products and her mission, and I am happy to share my love of Stubby Pencil Studio with you.
I’ll have more to say this weekend when I host a wonderful giveaway for a basket of Kate’s eco-friendly art supply goodness.
And on to the garden! Yesterday we had such lovely warm temperatures (the kind that come just before a storm!) so we got to work! Gabriel is such a good helper in the garden, which I truly appreciate right now. He actually enjoys things like pushing the wheelbarrow, and hauling mulch. I weeded my garlic bed yesterday and then Gabe helped me to mulch it with leaves from the front yard. We use all sorts of different mulches, whatever we can get our hands on really.

While we worked, the boys took turns with my camera. I love seeing the subject matter that each of them chooses to focus on.

Keats likes to take photos of his family and of faces (and he doesn’t care if they are all crusty and dirty.)

And, in case you are wondering, that crazy thing on Bea’s head is some sort of designer band-aid, given to her by a lady at church for a scrape on her forehead.

Gabe mainly takes photos that encompass a larger area, and more subject matter. I am happy to have this photo that I am sure predicts the next few months in the garden for me: big and pregnant, with my two year old nearby.
