Thanks for all the feedback about my knitting and reading meme (and for reminding me of that term: “meme.”) I will definitely start this Wednesday, and then plan to do it every other Wednesday. You can join either on your blog, or via Flickr. I will set things up so that you can leave your link here for others to see, and then ask that you link back to my original post as well. Knitting and crocheting “qualify” (any handwork really, it’s all fun to see and share) as do any sort of book you are reading or have read lately, including children’s books, because we’re always reading those, even if we don’t have time for our own reads, right? I always love getting new children’s book recommendations, especially in the read aloud department. I will go with Emma’s suggestion to use the word yarns in the name, and call the meme something along the lines of “my yarns,” or “my current yarns,” “yarns in progress,” “Wednesday yarn along,” or “yarns of the week.” (help!)
Yes, I had to look up the definition of the word yarn to remember that in addition to yarn as fiber, a yarn is a story or tale! Clever, clever Emma!
The bottom line is to share with each other and have fun. Let me know if you have any questions!

In answer to a question I got about the red strings always seen around my boys’ necks (and thought maybe others wondered as well): those are pocket knives that they got for Christmas last year.
And lastly, thank you, thank you, thank you for all the cloth diaper feedback. I will talk more about that in the coming weeks!
