Beatrix and I were able to spend about an hour at the craft bazaar I mentioned previously, and I had a great time taking photographs of some of the items that were donated for the sale. The bazaar was organized by a local mom and crafter to raise funds for charity. The show was a great success raising 3,200 dollars for Mary’s Shelter, which provides a safe haven for women experiencing crisis pregnancies. It was wonderful to see so many people pull their talents together to raise much needed funds for a great cause.

What lovely photos! There is a lady in our parish who takes lots of beautiful photos of the church and things going on. One time she put together a little montage "A day at St. Thomas Aquinas". It was lovely. I thought she should have sold it….but perhaps most people aren't so in love with their parish as I am.

Did you change the format for your comments or has blogger changed it for us?

Loved the pics. What a great new use for clothes pins! Those things have so many uses. I have seen several things lately that lent an entirely new definition to themselves simply by turning them upside down. My eye of course coveted the jewelry since I'm such a nut case about jewelry. When I die I want to be buried in all my jewelry! Couldn't help but notice the felted bowls and things and of course your beautiful rag doll. Ginny, you are so good at photography. I know I've told you this before but you really have an eye for the camera. You are very, very good and I never tire of looking at them. I'd say the sale was a big success to raise that much money. I hope this charity helps the unborn to be born. So many women use abortion as birth control. It breaks my heart. Talk to you soon. I wrote on my own blog today for the first time in months and months. I was afraid blogger had canceled me out do to unuse but not so. In case you don't have my blog addy and want to check it out, it's: http://gdlvr.blogspot.com. Today was just to catch up. But I will be posting some of the prayers I've written and given during church over the past few months. It's so great to have my own computer back!!! Love ya, keep those photos coming. You could make a raunchy, festering pile of garbage look beautiful with your talented eye. Bye…
