That’s the caramel. I made it while feeding a very fussy Beatrix (and still managing to take photos). Tricky.
Buttermilk biscuit dough on top of the caramel peach mixture which I cooked on the stovetop.
25 minutes in the oven and it was ready to go. The biscuits had a great texture and of course we ate this with vanilla bean ice cream.

Oh yum. And such beautiful photos. You can't even tell you were juggling a baby. I love fruit desserts too, but we've been on a kick lately with the Pioneer Woman's molten chocolate cakes. They are the polar opposite of whole grain goodness, but oh so delicious!

WOW! That made my mouth water!

Now, is that the same as a cobbler? Just a different name, or is it the caramel? It looks delightful.

Stop, you're killing me. The last thing on yesterday's grocery list was a Mrs. Smith's peach pie. But alas! our store no longer carries Mrs. Smith's. Only Sara Lee and I am not exactly what you might call a fan of Ms Lee. So I came home without it. Drats! And I was so looking forward to peach pie. I didn't even consider making one myself. Mine are worse than Ms Lee's pies! But your Grunt (oh what a horrible name) looks absolutely delicious! My mouth is watering like crazy. I had another chicken pot pie for dinner with cantaloupe slices on the side tonight. Guess I don't really cook any better for myself than I cook for hubby. The nurses said he had a better day today so maybe he'll get to come home tomorrow. I'm going to go back to my knitting now and pout because you had peach desert and I didn't. Boo Hoo!! I so had my heart set on peach pie!
