… small and sweet (sung to the tune of I’m a liitle teapot. Yes for some reason this popped into my mind and it won’t go away. It’s like there is a chicken song CD skipping in my mind. I guess I need to make up the rest of the song.) Actually the chicks aren’t really sweet. They are cute though. However their feathers are coming in and soon they will enter the awkward slightly ugly phase.
This is a Buff Orpington chick (in case anyone cares).
The coop is coming along. I love that in all things we do, we have this certain style (I am saying we, but it is really Jonny’s thing) that requires no project to be completed until the absolute last minute. The chicks need to stay in their brooder for about two more weeks I think. So, I predict the coop will be finished in two weeks, no sooner.

SO so so cute it makes me want to have one too. Not so sure if the neighbors would approve, but they have to deal with my kids, so whats the difference noise wise.Too bad (like kids) they dont stay so little!

That is a great coop!

This is a "style" I can relate to. A priest I assisted for years put it this way: "We work better with a sense of urgency." Yes. That's it!

Those chicks are the cutest little things. I liked that one, the Buff- something one? They are so cute and make me long for a coop filled with them. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for chickens. And the greatest thing on the side, is that they make eggs too!!! I guess your camera's working okay or are you using someone else's camera???
