My parents sent Larkie a princess dress and sparkly little dress up shoes. She loved them!
We gave her a hat and purse that I knitted along with a cute stuffed rabbit by Hansa (they make great realistic looking stuffed animals).

I believe that when you slow down and savor the small things, you don’t have to wish for a different life; you can discover beauty in the life you already have. {Find out more here...}

Happy Birthday, Larkspur!!! Thanks for sharing her special day with us, Ginny. Been busy for the past week so I had to do some back reading to get current with your blogs. We just got back from Opening Night at our Church's Coffee House, called Anna's Place. The coffee was horrible. I hate to say it but it was strong enough to pick me up and carry me to the car. I honestly could not drink it. Michael managed a cup and a half. Bet he's wired all night. I was so hoping for a good cup of hazelnut coffee. But ZOWIE! it was gross. Oh well, maybe people are drinking coffee that strong these days. I'm going to go knit now for awhile. I finished another baby hat like Bea's yesterday and today I've gone back to the baby afghan I'm working on all the time. I'm using the same yarn I used for the last afghan (I had so much of it left) but I'm using a different pattern. So I'll go knit until time to read. I love your little family!Marj

I love the shot of her coming down the staircase. Hope she doesn't lose the sparkly slipper. And I know the pink pants layered under the dress, is perfectly princess, because my grand daughter Ava would think so too.
